Decanter for recovering plant proteins

For plant protein recovery, decanters are used for extracting, concentrating, recovering and washing the protein. They separate solid and liquid phases with the help of centrifugal force. While the clarified liquid is discharged under pressure to avoid oxygen pick-up, the solids are forced to the bowl wall and transported by the scroll to the outlet.
