Long-cut Dry Pasta line - Golden Penny (Nigeria)
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, the largest single mill in the world, established the first pasta plant in Nigeria in 1972 and called it the Golden Penny Pasta. This brand is today widely acknowledged as the best pasta money-can-buy in Nigeria.
A modern production plant was completed in 2014 at Agbara, 40 km east from Lagos.
This production facility has been designed with striving targets in terms of energy saving and high production efficiency.
GEA has completed the installation of two state-of-the-art long cut pasta lines at Golden Penny plant. The video shows the first of these two lines, completed September 2015. It is completely equipped by GEA, including the packaging system.
