Clarifying solids from liquid with GEA decanter centrifuges

Decanters use centrifugal force to separate – or in this case rather clarify – solids from liquid. The product enters through a feed tube into a rotating bowl. Centrifugal force pushes the solids to the bowl wall. The scroll conveys the solids to the discharge. The clarified liquid exits through a separate outlet.
