I'm the Service Product Manager for
hygienic pumps in
Bodenheim. And today I want to show you
the mechanical seal options
for the TP range.
The mechanical seal options for the TP range are
single acting mechanical seal,
rotating part and the stationary part.
Single flushed mechanical seal, rotating part,
stationary part and
a lip seal and double acting mechanical seal -
face to face.
For the TP range two pump shaft sizes are
available - 25 millimeter and 30 millimeter.
All three options can be assembled on the same
pump shaft.
Single acting mechanical seal,
stationary part and rotating part.
Single flushed mechanical seal:
product side, rotating part, stationary part.
Atmospheric side: seal cartridge
with lip seal, shaft sleeve, O-ring
for impeller hub and flushing connectors.
For easy assembly heat up the shaft sleeve
and press it down completely.
Grease all elastomers and especially
the lip of the lip seal.
Double acting mechanical seal, face-to-face: product side,
rotation part, stationary part.
Atmospheric side: stationary part,
rotating part, driver with elastomer.
Elastomer for the impeller hub and flushing connections.
Attention with the driver: grease the gasket
and don't heat up to the driver while assembly.
For disassembly, take care to remove the
pin first.
For modification from single acting mechanical seal to
single flushed mechanical seal, there are
pre-punched holes
to build the threads for the screws yourself.
