Hi, Jörg Küpper from GEA here, and today I'm standing at the booth of the
CPhI in the Fiera in Milano. We are showcasing our latest
state-of-the-art, fully Annex 1 compliant lyophilizers alongside our automated
loading and unloading systems. But even more importantly, we also bring two big
innovations to the show. The first innovation is the LyoNova.
LyoNova is a microwave-assisted lab-scale freeze dryer, which has the
potential to reduce freeze-drying times by up to 80%.
And all of this can also be tested at our lab in the facility in Elsdorf.
The second big innovation is our LyoOne.
LyoOne is also a lab-scale freeze dryer, but with isolator integration and as
such, absolutely catering towards HPAPI testing and
development in your lab area. The idea of this technology is to reduce the areas of
concern when dealing with HPAPIs to a minimum, and as such, increases also the
safety of your operators in the lab.
