What are centrifuges and what are they used for? The answer can be found at the GEA plant in Oelde. This is where separators are manufactured for more than 3,500 processes, used to separate liquids and/or solids. Centrifuges are essential to our everyday lives, as they are used across many different industries—for example, in the food industry for milk processing or in the pharmaceutical industry for vaccine production.
